The Seal for the Next Generation

Effective August 1, 2026, the Children of the Doolittle Raiders introduced a new seal for the work of remembrance still ahead.

History, carried forward

The imagery brings together the B-25 bomber, USS Hornet, the Pacific, the mission date, eighty men, and sixteen aircraft. The seal gathers the essential elements of April 18, 1942 into one mark that can travel across the organization's archive, education, scholarship, and remembrance work.

This is not a replacement for the Raiders' history. It is a promise to carry that history forward—with the descendants, researchers, students, and communities who continue to keep the record alive.

Eighty men. Sixteen B-25s. One legacy carried forward.

From the Doolittle Raiders to the Raiders of Tomorrow

The Doolittle Raid began as an answer to a nation's darkest hour. Eighty volunteers carried that answer across the Pacific—and their example still asks something of the generations that follow.

This 90-second presentation connects the courage, leadership, innovation, service, and patriotism of the Doolittle Raiders with the responsibility to keep their history visible and useful today.

Watch and share the story

The presentation now lives directly with the Children of the Doolittle Raiders so descendants, educators, students, and supporters can share it from the organization's own archive.
