In 2019 the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Missoula, Montana was renamed in honor of Doolittle Raider Staff Sgt David Thatcher. On January 28, 2022, the newly built David J. Thatcher Veterans Affairs Clinic in Missoula was dedicated. The new facility will not only house a full spectrum of services, it will also provide help to a much larger number of veterans in the area. In addition to providing a one-stop-shop for VA services, it will take full advantage of technology so that clients can receive telehealth support from providers in remote locations. In the interests of maximizing mobility, all of the services are located on one floor.
