In April, 1996 the Doolittle Raiders held their 54^th reunion in Sarasota, Florida.  Thanks to Tom and Catherine Casey for sharing some video from that wondrous gathering almost a quarter century ago:  This is their note that accompanied the link to the video clip:

 HI all,

 What a night this was for our first reunion for the Raiders here in Sarasota in ’96.   We had them back in ’98 for the 56th.  This was really the beginning of my future with Raiders, and now there are none.

 Catherine and I teared up seeing this video sent by a good friend and news anchor for NBC, Bob Hite who was there to meet BOB HITE.

 Jeff, you will be most pleased at the end with me and your Dad.

 I hope this brings back lots of memories for some of you who remembered these special heroes.

 Keep them always  in your hearts as we close this chapter in history.  Now we have to carry on their legacy so they are never forgotten.

 Our best to you all, and thanks for being our friends.
